Our Story
Back in 2012, I was a junior analyst at a financial firm, stuck at a TOEIC score of 640. I had tried everything — two different academies, three online lecture series, every official practice book available. My score barely budged. My colleagues were getting promoted, in part because of their English proficiency scores. I was starting to believe I was simply "bad at English."
It wasn't until a mentor pointed out something that changed everything: I wasn't bad at English. I was bad at a very specific thing — processing spoken English when speakers used indirect reference patterns in Parts 3 and 4. Everything else was fine. But I'd been spending equal time on every part, grinding away at what I already knew.
Once I focused entirely on that one weakness — with deliberate, targeted practice for just 20 minutes a day — I went from 640 to 820 in eight weeks. Not because I suddenly became smarter. Because I stopped wasting time.
I spent the next decade teaching TOEIC and obsessively refining this diagnostic-first approach. In 2022, I partnered with a data scientist to build the AI diagnostic tool that now powers our platform. To date, 2,000+ students have gone through the system. The results speak for themselves.
